auto to 5sp swap

Hey guys,
I'm looking at possibly picking up a '93 4runner auto. I want a 5sp. Ive read what it takes and was wondering if a '95 t100 would work as a donor vehicle for most of the parts? The t4r in question has the 3.0 the t100 has the 3.4 I believe. I'm just looking for the easiest way to source parts. I know other parts would need to be located but if I could get the most from that it would be awesome. Thanks guys

IIRC the 3.0 and 3.4 share the same bell housing bolt pattern, so it should work.
The length may be different, which may mean some adjustments to the support x-member and/or driveshaft.

Another thing I thought of....will the at tc work on a manual or does that need swapped as well?

You talking about the AT ECM? By 93 the AT and EFI ECMs were combined so you can't swap them.

I meant auto transfer case vs manual transmission transfer case. Im going to look at a 2nd gen w/ 5sp this week so this thread may be null and void but I'm just trying to learn what I can about them.

No, you can't mate a manual trans t-case with an auto trans or vice-versa.
You have to swap trans and t-case together.
