Auto Windows Button

The driver's window is the only one that has the auto up/down feature. I want to change the buttons so all 4 windows have this feature. Anyone done this? If so, how much did you end up spending, time and money?

Well I haven't done it myself, but you need to replace the modulators too because they tell the switch when the window is up or down. I Don't think it would be worth the money, but that is just my opinion.

Thanks, That was the type of answer I was looking for. I didn't know what would be involved.

If I can some how get hold of the modulators for a cheap price I might look into it.

Partznet might possibly have the modulators, you can see how much they may be.

The OEM motor may be different for the auto up window regulator. Usually this motor contains a Hall effect sensor to provide positional information to the ECU (controller). If the motor connector contains more than two pins then this is the case.

Thanks for the info, I am looking to do this upgrade this summer, along with getting a sunroof put in.

My thoughts are to then have a one button operation that will open the sunroof and all 4 windows at the same time. Might be more trouble than it is worth, and if that is the case, I'll focus my efforts on my project/play car (a 1991 camaro)
