Got few used auto dimming rear view mirrors with digital compass and external temperature indicator (external sensor included) for 4runner trucks. Mount to the windshield.

Easy to wire. Only 4 wires involved. Two for the sensor, one ground and one +12 V. Wires are marked. windshield mount adhesive is $2. Thread will be posted soon.

it is a universal installation... have to wire it up yourself but it will mount wherever.

btw, the new ones you picked up... any like the one pictured on the right? (without the passenger airbag indicator) I think I'm interested.

sent you a message, just thought i would post a picture of what i have in place just to find out if there was a way it could be mounted to the original arm with ball at the end. if not no worries will just mount it with fitting that come.

Got my mirror last night, thanks Nissan! One question that I have, since my 4Runner has the external temp already, will this mirror work without the sensor hooked up? Can I just tape off those wires? I also thought about using it as an internal temp sensor. Just wondering if I have to hook those 2 wires up or if it will work fine with just the powe and ground hooked up

Yes, it will work without hooking up the external sensor. Just the power and ground is all what is needed.
