Auxito LED headlight bulbs

I got a set of LED headlight bulbs for my 97 4Runner from our forum sponsor Auxito - AUXITO(R) Car LED Lights | LED Forward, Interior & Exterior Lighting

The headlight bulbs were packaged great and look to be made from high quality materials.

Installation was simple and straightforward. I didn't have to remove anything to install them.

They had to send me the decoders because the only issue I had was the high beam indicator was not coming on in the instrument cluster.

I still need to readjust my headlights, but these LED bulbs are bright with no flicker or other issues so far.

The first couple pics are my stock halogen bulbs.

You’ll have to follow up after a period of time to let us know how they’re doing, any issues to report and so on. I ran Beamtech LED’s for about 2~ years and they’d eventually burn halfway out. Then I would reach out to the company to file a warranty claim, follow the instructions given and they’d send me a new bulb. Wash, rinse, repeat for two years.

I finally said enough is enough. I just bought some cheap Hella bulbs that lasted about 5 or 6 months. Then last month I bought some Sylvania halogen bulbs that have been working flawlessly ever since installation.

The thing for me with LEDs in our trucks is that they aren’t made for our housings and as a result, can and likely will blind oncoming drivers. I don’t need to risk my family’s safety or my own because someone else can’t see due to my headlights. But hopefully you’ll have luck with them. Not to mention, they are illegal in my state.

I've run LED headlights for several years and have never had anyone flash me thinking I have high beams on.

Good LEDS replicate halogens reflective properties so they use the same projection, so have no blinding affects.

The Plus is how much brighter and further down the road they project, without blinding others. Luck all.

Yes, I like them A LOT! They are really bright with great beam pattern. I don't get flashed from oncoming traffic either.

I did. I literally had to spin the bulbs till they were adjusted right. They were so bad it took me 30 minutes to adjust them.


I just put the newer style headlights in and solved that issues.

Mine were from super bright leds bulbs though.

My search for headlight bulbs led me to your post. Still liking them? Is the canbus adapter they sell on their site what you used in your installation? Easy plug and play?

I'm still liking them. The Can Bus adapter works and it was basically a plug and play upgrade.

So does your High beam indicator work now? I have tried a half dozen different encoders to get my High beam indicator to work and have not been successful.
Every year for inspection I have to put in One halogen bulb to get it to pass. As it is part of the inspection for it to work.

Put in a headlight harness that bypasses the factory switched negative. The high beam indicator will work through the relay coil.

The high beam indicator runs through the low beam filament of the bulb. Without a load (relay coil isn't enough), it won't turn on - and often the high/low switching will be affected. Just get load resistors on there, plug it into the passenger side stock harness while the driver's side runs an aftermarket harness.

With the harness I have the high beam indicator works properly. It’s not as bright as it would be with a 1ohm filament but it’s bright enough to see in daylight.

If you buy the Auxito LED's and your high beam indicator light doesn't work, they will send you a pair of load resistors for free. Just email them. You only need to install one. I've had this setup for about a year and it works beautifully.
