Availability of rear lockers on 4th gens and A-TRAC

I had a few quick questions about A-TRAC II+ and Rear lockers on 4th gens. I owned a 3rd gen for 10 years and was looking at 5th gens but decided against buying new. Now considering 2007+ 4th gens and am slightly confused about the availability of these options.

Is A-TRAC II+ available in ALL 4th gen 4runners? The verbiage makes it sound like all 4th gens, regardless of trim, have A-TRAC.

Can A-TRAC be switched off in the 4th gens? No explicit mention of this although some cursory searching of forums (this and others) suggests that it cannot be in the 4th gen 4Runner (but can be in the Tacoma).

Which trim packages, other than the 2009 Trail Edition have the Locking Rear Diff option, if any?

Any of you who have shopped for a 5th gen know the difference between ATRAC in 4th gens compared to 5th gens? Do the 5th gens use A-TRAC II+ too?

The only year / trim that had an ATRAC disable switch was the 2009 Trail Edition. Prior to that, all trims received a VSC disable switch in 2008. There's a (somewhat) easy mod you can perform to disable ATRAC/VSC/ABS for any year / trim though, see here.

The only year / trim that had a locking rear diff was again, the 2009 Trail Edition.

Unfortunately, I can't comment on the 5th gen's ATRAC system.

All 4WD 4th gens have a center diff lock. Rear locker is in addition to that on 09 Trail Edition.

If you have a VSC off switch you can turn off all traction control including ATRAC by holding the switch down for 10 seconds. I have it in my 08 and didn't realize that's what happened, thought my ATRAC was broken lol
