Awning owners... 6.5' or 8'?

Your 8ft doesn't overhang the front windshield...! It also doesn't hit the top of the tailgate when you open it? The reason I opted for the 6ft was because I didn't want it to protrude over the front of the roofline but it doesn't seem to on yours!

It overhangs in the front by a few inches, but not so much that it’s very noticeable. Correct it doesn’t touch the tailgate when opened either.

I believe the Roam 8ft is actually a 7.75”.

That looks absolutely fine to me. I may have just found my preferred awning size. Thanks for posting a pic.
