Awning recommendations?

Looking for some advice on an awning. I don't want to break the bank, but also don't want junk. What are some of the options you guys would recommend?

Not sure if you have a rack or not. If you do then take a look at my review here - ARB 2500

I also have the room addition and use it as my tent.

If you don't have a rack I always thought Hungwin had the best and affordable awning. Here's his link Hungwin's Awning setup. Give him credit if you go that route.

I agree with [MENTION=116467]Rock_Rat[/MENTION] on the ARB 2500 and accessories. I read a bit on them and they've even updated them sometime in the past. Reasonably priced on Amazon.

Though I just saw one (somewhere, sorry..) that opens like those old style fans, the ladies would carry. I just went through my bookmarks and can't find it though!! :redbrick::redbrick:

I'm thoroughly satisfied with my ARB awning, mounted to a Rola roof rack, with custom led lighting installed underneath. My phone was destroyed, so I can't post pics, but there are some posted in the "what did you do to your 3rd gen" thread, and possibly in my ongoing into thread.

I think I am going to go with the Wraptor 2500 for mine. It's on the cheaper side but looks of good quality. Good jumping off point for me. Check it out.

I like my ARB 2500. When I have more people along or need more space I throw the room on it.

Picked up an awning from CVT at the NW Overland Rally and am happy with it so far. Black case is nice as I think ARB is gray. I did try to get one from ARB, but they don't sell direct and no vendors had any. Also, if you're on Tacoma World, they have a forum discount I believe, not sure if we have one here or not.

Thanks everyone! I ordered the ARB 2000, but am not sure if I need to order any mounting brackets to go with it? I will be using the same roof rack as in this thread - http://www.toyota-4runner.org/3rd-gen-t4rs/224557-inexpensive-full-length-roof-rack-curt-rack.html

And wondered if it will bolt on with the supplied hardware?

Keep your eye out on autoanything.com. I was able to use a 20% off promo code on my ARB awning.

I wouldn't be surprised if they wised up though.
