Axel boot

After driving a bit, looks like drivers side from axel blew a bunch of grease. I don't see splits. Is there a way to replace the boot or do I need the whole axel replaced?

After driving a bit, looks like drivers side from axel blew a bunch of grease. I don't see splits. Is there a way to replace the boot or do I need the whole axel replaced?

You can buy a boot kit and replace them yourself or have a shop do it. You have to break down the axle from the inboard side to get the boot on the outboard side off. It's just a labor intensive job (i.e. takes time,) but as long as you pay attention it's easy.
