We did the trail today. Pretty crazy. Not recommended for stock 4Runners. Here's more info:

The difficult portion of this train through the creek bed is closed indefinitely due to the Gladiator fire. The part of the trail that you can do will only allow you to go so far then you'll have to turn around and go back the way you came. This wasn't my favorite trail, but still sad to hear that it's gone!
