I'm taking my wife, brother, and 5 year old daughter to Hollywood that day for a show at the El Capitan Theater... might join you guys on our way to L.A.. Gotta find an all-day babysitter for my one year old twins though. I'll let you guys know as soon as I find out if Grandma's available.

I'm possibly in on this, depending on if I get my skids from Savage in time.

I've never been to Azusa Canyon before though, which Jack in the Box are we talking about?
 
Want to go but not sure if I can make it, went a few months ago and saw an FJ and a Hummer having a good time.

Anyone going in the mud, or just watching??

What's this place like? Are there trails or is it pretty much a big mud bath like the picture? :) Any steep/loose stuff there I can get ATRAC engaged on? I could be interested..

Fun place,

Couple of small water crossings, rocky areas, sand areas, mud pits, and a few small hills to climb.

If you haven't been, then it's definitely worth checking out.
 
It's not all mud, it's easy to stay away and watch the crazy ones. It's a hard, rough entrance, then a little sand and a few hills to try. You get to cross the creek a number of times but it's easy. Not the best place, but still good to try a few things and it is fun watching the mud guys.

I came out looking like the photo, but it was all dust. It shows the fist/last creek crossing. I was on the way out.

Sounds like it's worth checking out as I'm still pretty new to this whole offroading thing. Thanks for the info!
 
Come on out, I can get just about anywhere and I'm in a bone stock 3rd gen.
Also, I was there last weekend and the water crossings are easy. I just threw it into 4hi for the first water crossing and was in 2 the rest of the time. If someone has an ez up, bring it.
 
Count me in for this one. Do you have an exact location of where to meet? I have no idea which jack in the box your talking about, going to guess this one?

And I have an ez up that I can bring w me, have had for almost a year and haven't had a chance to use to it yet.
 
Correct, the Jack in the Box directly off the 210 is our meet point. The SOP is breakfast, fuel up at the station across the street and then head up. It is $8 at the gate, and you will not be let in without 4wd. If you bring an ice chest, they may ask to search it on the way in. That said; let's get a head count going.
