After trading in my 2nd 4th gen for a 2008 Sequoia 3 years ago, I recently sold my Mazdaspeed 3 and bought a 2000 SR5. This will double as the family hauler for shorter trips as well as my DD. Lousy garage pic below.
My hatch window does not roll down with the key (works fine with the dash button) and the cargo light only works in the "On" position. So I'm poking around and discover that on the cargo light, there are 2 screws that go into ground terminals. If I remove these screws, then the light works in the "Door" position and I can open the window with the key BUT only when switched power is on. So I have to have a key in the ignition in order to open the back window with a key...still pretty pointless. Any ideas what might be going on?
