Back seat / trunk cargo

Anyone have any good ideas?
I don't want to build a box
I have 2 dogs that ride in a lot

Something similar to this. And no I don't have 3rd row cargo tray

I just attached a small backpack to a child restraint anchor bracket on back of rear seat. Not as nice as in the picture but requires no effort and easily removable when hauling big stuff in the trunk.

I've took a picture for you. It's a little bit messy in my trunk, but backpack is always rides with me (it's on the right). With backpack alone trunk looks a lot cleaner : ) Backpack has basic trail stuff, such as air pump, tire repair kit, first aid kit, blanket, etc.

Got it in a surplus store for around $30 - standard US military issue. Looks like it can take some abuse and going to last long.

I bought this @ a thrift store for $9.99. I have tools, shovel, and other miscellaneous items in there. It's weighed down so it doesn't move around at all.
