Last fall we made the mistake of selling our Black 99 Sport after my wife bought her Sequoia. At the time, my work vehicle was an 06 and we decided to keep the newer one. Well the timing belt broke in that one and I found myself in need of some immediate reliable transportation on not much of a budget. Picked up this 2000 base model, 4cyl, 5-speed and while it may not be the best candidate for an all out "project", it's already proven to be a tough rig and an absolute ball to bomb around in. Kind of reminds me a little of my 87 4Runner...from the cockpit anyway. Great to be back in the club. Not having one in the yard was the worst 9 months of my life. Already bought some alloys for it which are going on after a little suspension/steering work. Today's project is the fuel filter, which on this 2.7 is a bit of a pain.
