Knowing the concept and understanding the context makes this a cool truck. But under any other circumstances if you saw a new body style truck with tube bumpers and a roll bar with KCs on it, you'd probably puke.

I would drive it just how it is. Now if it wa a new taco with the actual old school bumpers than yes would be awefull, but with how they made them look new with the old style i would rock them but thats just me.

For me I think it is nostalgia. I grew up watching those movies over and over again. The original truck grew on me, so seeing a new version is kind of cool. I wouldn't call it "messing in my pants" though. Someone a lot younger (or older) than myself (35) probably wouldn't care as much.

I love it. Id much rather have the original but I cant say that the tacoma version isnt pretty kick ass. Id drive it without hesitation haha

I've never really been a fan of the newer Tacomas but that looks pretty sweet.
