Back with a new issue! YAY!

Driving the other week, hit a big speed bump going like 3 MPH, and the engine died. After that, I could crank, but no starting. New starter, fuel pump and filter. I shook some wires around in the engine bay (mostly around the distributor), and it started right up after that. Since then, about every 4 times starting, I get the same crank/no start issue. Shake the wires around and it starts. Are there common areas where the ground becomes loose?
Where are the grounds located, anyway?
Possibly distributor issues? I just replaced the rotor. The old rotor was missing the spring steel part that holds it onto the shaft. Maybe that piece fell inside the distributor? Would that cause an issue such as this?
When this happens, I get error 12.

Thanks in advance for any help!
