I recently replaced the stock stereo in my 2006 4Runner with a Sony XAV-AX100. The day after the install, I noticed that the back light of my rear defrost button and the back light of my clock/remaining mileage/outside temperature were out. I ordered a few new lights and replaced them but they're still not working.
The display on the clock still works and when I press the rear defrost button it still lights up and works. It's only the back lights that aren't working. I've triple checked the wiring harness and it is tightly secured.
Has anyone dealt with this issue before? Any advice is really appreciated.
