Parents recently gave my sister an 03' 4Runner. Just found out there's some sort of backup camera installed. I was wondering does it come like this from factory? I'm pretty sure my parents did not install it. Is there any way to test that it works or is wired correctly? There's no navigation screen or anything in the dashboard either. Just curious on why it's even there if it didn't serve any purpose without all the correct pieces.

An 03 would not come from factory that way. My bet is that there used to be a nice radio in the 4rnr! Someone probably took the nice radio out before trading or selling and didn't want to mess with camera wires!
