I think when u upgrade your ride with all these great accessories, that you come to a point that your never going to sale it ... Unless a poor soul comes along and offers you some great $$$layball:

When I was reading through his modifications, I felt like he should have done this to a Cruiser. Well... as I though, the seller is heading towards a 100 series cruiser.

That truck without mods will easily get $9000 in TX. So Another $6000 for the mods including front and rear ARB lockers (each diff is about $1500), swing out rear bumper with camping table is very reasonable.

No it wouldn't. I bought an 01 earlier this year in Dallas for $6,500 with 25,000 more miles on it. That was premium retail asking price. $3,500 for 25,000 less miles? Nope.

These price comments make me laugh. As with many custom vehicles, all it takes is ONE right buyer that will pay that for that truck. The truck is probably around a $7500-8000 truck with out mods. Plus all the parts and labor (whether DIY or shop, it still got on the vehicle), it's potentially a fair deal for someone that wants and would build a 4runner like that.

Not apples to apples, but I payed more than double that what my truck would be worth without parts on it. Some people like to bleed slow when building trucks, and I understand that as well... versus paying a premium for a built one.

Agreed. It's nice but I wouldn't spend $15k for one. People get all "well I have $10k in it" well sucks for you. Should've thought of that before wanting to sell. You may get 20-30% back on that aftermarket stuff

Couldn't agree more. People put a ton of money into a car and expect people to pay the same amount they put in when they go to sell it? I would only spend no more than 10k on that car.

Seriously. A stock '02 with 120k on the clock may fetch close to that. Here's a perfect example.
