Today I had to replace the valve cover gaskets on my 88 with the 3vze. Did an egr delete while I was at it and got rid of the California emissions. Now it won't start. I did get it to start once but ran like crap. I'm fairly new to these engines besides basic maintenance. I normally run 22re. I replaced the circuit open relay but no luck there. I'm completely lost at this point. Yes I did look to see if anyone else has had this problem. Please someone help. I'm completely lost at this point

in putting it back together, you either didn't connect/plug something in, or you've mixed some connections up. only you will be able to determine that, as "we" aren't there to look at or see your truck.

alternatively, in your attempt to remove the emissions equipment, you have also either left something unplugged/open, or routed hoses incorrectly, etc. same issue; only you are there to see the truck, you'll need to figure it out.

Took the plenum back off and check everything. All vacuum is routed correctly. All electrical I connected. Had a rip in the gasket. Replaced it. Still got nothing. Starting to wonder about fuel pressure regulator. Gets fuel but doesn't hold pressure. Gonna check for any leaks in the lines shortly
