2003 Toyota 4Runner V6, Engine starting but running rough, low on rpms...seems a little sluggish. No Codes. Removed the carpet under the backseat, opened the access panel and had someone turn it over with my ear right over the pump. It sounded extremely faint. I could barely hear it but did hear it. It didn't run every time the ignition went from off to on. Just sounded really faint to me. Does this sound like a weak fuel pump? Checked the fuses and relays, all work. If I wouldn't have removed the cover and had my head next to the pump, I would've never heard it when it did run. From what I remember, I think you usually can hear them easily as you insert the key and start the vehicle?

Should have around 34-ish PSI if I remember right if you test it.
Got a loan kit from Autozone but the damn thing didn't have a quickfit adapter for the fuel line so that doesn't work. The whole thing is pissing me off. There aren't any codes registering, just the damn ABS, Brake and VSC lights are on. Is there anything that would trip these codes and make the engine run rough? No codes. I hear a hum noise come from under the hood when I move the key from off to on but not always. After I turn it off and wait a few minutes and do it again,. there isn't any noise. When I had my ear next to the fuel pump earlier today, it made a very faint noise..almost couldn't hear it even though the tank has a little over a quarter tank of gas in it.
