Does anyone have any pics of original bad head gaskets that were covered under the recall? I have a 95 V6 and im in the process of replacing the HG's , well I get down to 'em, pull the right one off, and half the water holes are blocked completely by the HG or partially blocked by the HG. The gasket looks OE but I dont KNOW.The only clue I have is a #2 stamped on the HG that looks identical to a #2 thats stamped on a camshaft cap. Same "font" and size. It is possible that someone has changed them out, incorrectly with OE. So im just wondering if this is the original, 1995 HG, and I take it to the dealership and show it to them, if I would have a leg to stand on. Ive checked my VIN and its not part of the recall.
