Bad idea to wheel with the windows down?

Yesterday I went wheeling with some buddies. They got stuck, so I pulled then out enough to ride the rest of the way through it. Well, I forgot my back window and drivers side door was open. These are the results...

I can't point fingers on this one. I went wheeling all day windows down. Took 2 weeks to get rid of the dirt.

I was expecting that something happened, and somehow the window shattered in a lower position and people got ****ed up by it. This definately makes me feel a whole lot better.

Not only did you ruin your interior but You probably ruined all your seals. I give it a month till something starts leaking...

what I'm wondering is, why didn't you stop after mud started flying in the car? it looks like it took some
effort to continue to throw that much mud in the cab

I wasn't mudding when I got it in there, my buddy was stuck and I pulled him out enough for him to gas it and get out. But, I completely forgot to close my windows and when he gassed it, it went all in the car. I'm really lucky I only got mud in the cabin. Rocks were flying everywhere and I'm lucky they didn't hit a window!

I always wheel with the windows down. Need to be able to hear things. This is mudding with the windows down. I dont mud with the windows up. actually I don't mud at all. The stuff is soooo bad for your truck. Be ready to replace pulleys soon.

Sooo my question is how did your back window get roosted if you were pulling him out. If he accelerated once he was somewhat unstuck wouldn't the roost get thrown behind him and away from your truck. It would make more sense if you were stuck and he was pulling you out backwards .... Something doesn't add up...:wtf:
