Bad news

I was installing the toytec front spacers today and the main thread on the drivers side shock snapped right off when trying to loosen. Is it possible to just replace one shock or do I have to replace both? I cant believe with a little umph it just snapped like that! I shoulda just bought the coilovers!

Haha, good excuse... if you can afford it. I'm pretty sure you can find a replacement at an local salvage yard. Search around, good luck.

If I had the money I would! Looks like I need to hunt for a replacement.

That sucks man. I like learning about my rig, but seems like you have to plan for twice the time and the unexpected. Hopefully you'll find a replacement cheap enough to stay in budget. Hang in there and post up some pics when you get it done.

I got 2 front Bilsteins still sitting here, just haven't got the energy over the holidays to tackle it yet. I went through the lift last month, so hopefully all the bolts will loosen without issue.
