bad rear body roll

Got my lift completed a couple weeks ago and the body roll is crazy.I thought the lc coils would settle more than they did and the body roll would go away but that didnt happen. I live on some windy back roads with lots of uneven pavement and the rear body roll is terrible at speeds under 50. It will toss side to side a couple time before settling out. The front does not seem to roll much, its mostly the rear. I have looked around but cant find a good answer to my problem so help me out.

What is the best thing I can do to reduce rear body roll?

I am still running my stock sway bar end links, could this be the problem? or is it the 7.5 wraps and high COG?

Up it to 285's and widen my stance with wheel spacers?

Well its probably not the shocks and it shouldn't be the sway bar endlinks unless they are broken, I dont think its the panhard bar, if you installed a drop bracket that does raise the center of gravity in terms of forces being transfered.
--It could just be the Fj80 Springs.
They are soft springs that allow for maximum flex, Maybe you should consider a stiffer OME spring like the 890/891. Considering your daily drive on windy back roads I think you might be happier with a stiffer spring.

I would get a good airbag setup for the coils. They cost about $100 so cheaper than new coils, plus its the best of both worlds. You can air them up for the street and when loaded the can be used too level the truck so you dont sag in the rear which is good for towing. Then when you hit the trail you let the air out and get the full flex of the lc coil. My buddy runs the ome rear coils and I get a lot more flex than he does.

Thanks. I will double check the pan hard. I might remove the panhard drop bracket and see what happens if I reattach it to the stock location.

Like the Air bag Idea! Get to keep the springs I want but can stiffen them up(essentially) when not offroad. If I go with airbags should I order a pair made for the land cruiser or for the 4 runner?

4runner, remember the springs you have in there are from the front of the LC, not the rear of a LC.

Like Yoter said earlier, it sounds like your shocks. If it doesn't recover from a bump quickly and rocks back and forth like you say, then the shocks aren't doing their job. So that would be the first thing I would check. I would pull one out and see how hard it is to compress and if it returns good.

I don't have a rear sway bar, but mine just leans around corners, I don't get the rocking action.

Thanks 2sun, it's just like ur saying a back and fourth rocking. The shocks are brand new and they return good but are not that firm or hard to compress. They are 200 psi nitro so I thought they would be a bit firmer. I dropped my panhard almost three inches to get back to factory angle. Do u think I dropped it to much? Or does that sound about right?

3" is a little big, but I don't think that's causing your problem. But just for good measure, I would make sure the ph mount isn't bent (mine got twisted from the leverage, but I also wheeled hard on it). It's hard to say w/o driving it and feeling it firsthand, but if you still have your old shocks, see if they are stiffer. You could try putting them back on and see if it rides better.?
