Badlands bumpers

got a call from jeff about an hour ago.

my bumper is done. im heading over on sunday to pick it up.

I am excite.

Awesome, I ordered mine with couple modifications to angle on the light guards... Looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

Was the bumper powder coated?

I ordered a gallon of Monstaliner for mine... Hoping the install isn't too bad.

PC was extra, right?

pretty sure mine will be bare metal. i'll just grab a few cans of matte black.

It's been Sunday for an hour and a half, and yet no pics.

I am disappoint.

Here ya go!

Image that Jeff sent me before he welded the guard up. I can't mount it until my winch and Monstaliner come in though.

there was 5 hours of driving involved...
I had to cross a very nasty pass, it was snowing hard. I just made if through before they closed it.

altho, its Monday now, and still no pics...

its rainy and snowy here today, the bumper rests comfortably in the back of the bumper, out of the moisture. its still bare metal, and id rather it didn't get rusted before I have a chance to paint it.

also, Im going to plate the front of the frame, and add 1-2 more mounts towards the center.
also, im going to put two small braces under the top plate. so I can stand on it. :D

oops. missed this. indeed it is done.

if I was a few minutes later, I would have seen you there. I left just after 11:00.

Too bad, I didn't know you were coming from over the pass. I have heard it's been nasty the last week or so. I showed up around 1230, about a 30min drive for me :)

Adding support to the upper deck is a good idea. I will be adding a few light mount fixtures for a knock off led light bar and two Lightforce 240s

It pains me to watch the bumper sit in the garage waiting for parts instead of sitting on my truck looking badass.

You may be able to put on the winch after the fact, I haven't attempted fitment yet. My right shoulder is all bummed out. You might be able to squeeze it in there but I would rather get it done all in one shot.

I'll have to ask Jeff about that. So what did your bumper cost you out the door?

I can't remember exact cost, since I bought sliders, a rear and then the front. I'll go back and look at my receipts in the morning. Today was my birthday... And it was successful.

LOL birthday on St. Paddys? That is a nice coincidence! Would you be mad if I stole that design on your bumper bro? I love the look of it. Just like one of the guys above said "It looks mean". Let me know what he charged you when you get the chance to check.

No, it's not mine. I just happened to remember seeing the add when I came across this thread. Thought maybe someone local might want it?

Yeah I called Jeff up about it and he said I would have to do some modification to make it work on my 85.

I always have someone to drink with!

Go for it, maybe you can get yours mounted up before I do, so I can see what it looks like! I believe it was a 2" difference in mounting location of the headlight guards on the stinger, it ended up turning out exactly how imagined it. Front bumper ended up being $550.
