x2. I like the swept back wheel well blend, the bevel to match the flares. Very nice. That is going to look sick once you grind it down and paint it.

Thanks, The power difference is barely noticeable so far, but I haven't been up to highway speeds yet. The biggest thing I've noticed so far is that braking seems to take quite a bit more effort.

When are you going to finish that rear bumper? Been working on it for a long time.
Oh and if your still selling the ProE plans for your front bumper, I may get a set from you this summer. I know a guy, family friend, who is like some crazy professional metalsmith. Been doing it for decades, he has an awesome shop. He said he woud help me fab a bumper when I wanted to.
Anyways. Looking real good man.

Thanks! Funny you should ask about getting the rear bumper finished. I just got pulled over for not having a rear bumper on the truck. Cop was cool though - just gave me a verbal warning. That should give me some motivation to finish it up.
As for the front bumper plans, if you want to PM me your email address, I can send you some more information.

did you have to enroll in a welding class; how did you get into and make something like that?

Yeah, that's pretty much how it went. I did not take a welding class, but I read several internet articles on welding, and even checked out and read some books from the library. Then I just started practicing, and my neighbor gave me a few tips and tricks. The rest is history.

Hands down my favorite 4Runner I've seen. This next statement is NOT a knock on guys that buy mass produced armor for their rigs, because there are a lot of great products available now.
So- I admire the skillset of metal works, and appreciate that you aren't rocking Brand X front/ rear bumpers. Your rear bumper in particular is sick. The placement of the backup lights make this bumper POP!
Well done with your Runner. You definitely have an eye for clean fabrication. Keep up the good work.
Makes me really miss my buddy back in NC, who took my ideas and transformed them into what made my Tacoma unique.
