Battery died...now TPMS light is on

I left the key in the ignition (2005 4R) when we were messing around with the brakes last Friday. Well, it was completely dead on Sat morning (cold night too) and it took a while for it to start after being connected with jumper cables to my buddy's 4R.

Ever since then, the tire pressure high has stayed on. I checked my tires and the spare. Tires were at 34 and spare was at 40, so the pressure is normal...maybe a tough high but still in normal range.

I am not sure if a TMPS sensor has gone bad or if the computer has "forgotten" the programming. These are my winter wheels/tires but Discount Tire put new sensors and "cloned" them. I have been driving on them for 2-3 weeks with no issues and no light. Now the light constantly stays on. Any ideas as to what I can try? It would be nice to get that light to turn off and act normal again.

Take it back to discount tire and have them check it. If you just got them why wouldn't they cover it under warranty? Defective sensor or might just need to be reprogrammed?

Yeah, I may just do that. I just thought that since the battery had fully died for a day, maybe that had done something. I'll call DT on Monday.

Just to come this thread- the first Discount Tire was worthless and made me stand around in the dang cold and could not figure it out. Gad!! I drove across town and those guys lowered the pressure and reset the TPMS sensors...all is good now.
