Battery died today and need a good replacement

dont know if they have the standard car post or you will need to use stud to post adapter. interstate you can get at any napa or costco.

I think interstate AGM is in the $200 range?

I've heard really good things about Panasonic batteries... is that who makes the OEM battery from Toyota?

Also Deka batteries seem to be well regarded.

Surprisingly cheap! About commensurate with the higher end batteries from parts stores. My Grp 31 HO was only $130. I priced a 27F at $112. The 31 is a threaded stud but the 27 and 24 are standard post.
 
Can our alternators even properly charge AGM batteries? I read they need slightly higher charging voltage than flooded batteries. If they don't get that, they won't quite charge to 100% (only about 90-95%) their lifespan could be shortened. As a result I went with a regular flooded cell battery. There are only a few companies that actually manufacture flooded cell starter batteries, so I went with Autocraft Silver since it was cheap but seems to be made to similar specs as others.

The original battery is Panasonic. They are legendary (mine lasted 10 years and still had some life left in it), but it's just about impossible to get a replacement. The Toyota True Start batteries you can get a the dealer are made by Johnson Controls, same as Autocraft Silver and many others.

Get the 27F - it's bigger but fits perfectly, 200 more CCA's.

I'm still trying to sell my brand new Optima yellow top 35...gonna take a $100 loss cause i'm an idiot.

The Super Start Platimun from O'Reilly is just a rebranded Deka Intimidator, bought one in February and its been great.
