battery size in the key remote

i got a new battery that fits/works but my lock button gets jammed so it must not be the right one... anyone know the right battery size?

3v CR2026 is the correct battery for your keyless entry remote.

If the button is sticking, I would reccomend you take the entire remote apart as much as you can including pulling the buttons out. Clean them with warm soapy water and then reinstall. Sometimes pocket gunk gets in the remote and sticks the buttons.

Wedge a nickel in the slot of the remote & open it up & see for yourself.

You'll have to do it anyways when you replace the battery.

Oh wow, I'm sorry. I didn't see that typo. CR2016 is the correct one, I didn't see that I hit the 2 instead of the 1.
