Bed extender

Does anyone use one of those metal bed extenders? Like this:

I wouldn't expect anyone to have one on a 4runner.

I had one on my old nissan, it was handy, but on a 4runner the tag wouldn't be visible and the glass in the tailgate may pose a problem. if you were to hit a speed bump slamming the tailgate hard could bust the glass in the down position.
but with the tailgate closed and the extender folded in is a good load organizer, keeping your groceries from flying around
