Been a Long Time........

4 Runner Bud

But I am back in a 4 Runner. My Toyota days started in 1985 with an SR5 Pickup with the Turbo. Then I had an 1988 4Runner with the V6. Believe it was the first year of the V6.

Been through 5 chevys, a nissan hardbody truck, and a Ford Exploder, but now have returned to my roots and just pick up a new to me, 2005 SR5 4Runner, white and clean as a whistle with only one previous owner. First time I have gone used since I was a kid, but the times are a changing.:dancin:

Looking forward to searching the posts here, and playing with my new toy!

This Forum looks the place to be to get the answers to stuff I am looking to do. So.......Let's search for leveling kits........:frog:

Thanks Kris. Forgot how fun a vehicle can be. Feel like a kid again at middle age. This thing is a pleaure to drive. I do not miss the 2500HD diesel at all. Went motohome and sold the big 5th wheel. Was looking at a Tacoma when this 4runner winked at me, and knew I had found what I wanted.

Need:

Leveling kit
Fix for rattle in sunroof
Good garage time checking her top to bottom and making her mine!

I've owned three tacomas so I was looking at them too before I got my 4Runner, if it had the V8 I probably would've gotten one.....but I'm really happy with my 4th generation, I've also had a 1994 2nd gen. and 1998 3rd gen. as well....

Def. get a leveling kit, it will look so much better, I have the Daystar 2.5" lift with 32" muds and love it, later on i'll buy a real lift but for now this is perfect....

Welcome back to the 4Runner world and welcome to the board! Enjoy your new truck. Once you drive a Toyota, you will always migrate back regardless. Let see some pics!
