Doesn't it look better w/o all that salt isht. I did the same thing to mine. Took it to my fav hand washing place and they do a good job. But, you always have to put your own little touch on it to make it extra clean.

i use eagle1 wet aerosol spray. dont get the spray bottle version, its not as good.

So, you get the brush on stuff, and put it on with a paint brush?

no, its an aerosol spray. when using it, you have to coat your tires, then pull forward a couple inches and do the part that was touching the ground.

pretty quick and easy.

Scratch that then, don't get the pump spray, just get the aerosol one. Got it

yup. ive tried the meguiars aerosol, and it has pros and cons... pro is that it has an adjustable nozzle that will spray a wider amount out, so for our larger tire sidewalls, it makes the job quicker.

con is, its actually somewhat tinted black, so if you have white letters out, it will leave a black residue on your lettering.

Decisions decisions. I used to take 100% silicone, and mix it with watered down tire shine, and put it on with a paint bursh. It would stay on for weeks.

Todays stuff is just that, watered down silicone, but mix it with the 100% stuff. it would be the isht. Just don't have the time or patience to start mixin' stuff like a chemist

well thats worthless here in the winter anyway... road salt and sand sticks to it like ants on a sugar cube!

we're expecting around 12 to 18 inches of snowfall in the next couple of days too... so im probably gonna chill on washing as a whole for a little while

All we get in NJ is one snow storm, and you guys not only win the super bowl, and the world series, but you get blizzard after blizzard

yea, blizzards sound cool and are.

but when youve gotten 1.... followed by 10 inches... followed by an ice storm.... the 2nd isnt so fun sounding!

heck, there are a lot of places that are still inconvenienced by the previous storm.

at least my runner will plow through for me :arrow:

well theres only so much money that can be spent to clean up after a storm, so whatever couldnt be cleaned within budget, didnt.

luckily we had a little bit of "heat" (40s and 50s) and sun and some rain too, so its melted quite a bit.
