I just scored a new ride. After owning my 68 Firebird for almost 30 years, I had an offer on it that I simply couldn't refuse, so I sold it.
I have to admit that I was also excited about the idea of finding a new ride for my garage. After about a month of searching and looking at all different cars, I finally found one that really lit my fire.
It's a 72 Camaro Z-2/8. I ran the VIN and decoded the data plate and it is a true Z. However the original motor is long gone and has been replaced by a worked 454. The motor puts out approximately 450 HP. All the power runs through a Tremec 5 speed trans back to a 12 bolt posi rear with 3:73 gears.
The car received a TOTAL restoration. It also has power steering, power disc brakes, a brand new ice cold Vintage A/C system. The entire front and rear suspension has been rebuilt and upgraded. It has tubular upper and lower control arms, heavy duty front and rear sway bars, and heavy duty shocks. It also has a set of 17" Torque Thrust wheels with brand new Nitto tires.
The car is an absolute beast and is a blast to drive. It handles like a slot car and has power out the wazoo. The 5 speed is nice too because I can throw it up into 5th gear and the RPM's drop to a nice level while cruising at 55-60MPH.
I'm loving this car and it has received a ton of attention at shows and cruise nights.

Oh this will be a fun game to play along with.
As with most of you know and already see in my picture is my 1971 numbers matching true Mach 1 mustang. (Don't mind the girl)
Then aside from my other toys of Dirt bikes and atvs and jet skis I've had /have.
My other toy is my 1981 all original maintenance receipts back to 81 with a few k miles SUZUKI GS650E

That's actually not all that unusual. Just a couple of the bikes I've owned, there was a ZX-11: Actual displacement was 1052cc.
Another was the CBR1100XX: Actual displacement: 1137cc
There are many more examples.

I have never seen one go higher than the claimed cc. I've only seen like a 350 be 349. Or similar

Garage about 5 months after buying the house.
All cleaned up and ready for a toy
2004 Honda CR250cc used to live in the garage
Now a 2010 Subaru Forester lives there and the wife drives that. The 4Runner stays into the garage until the fall when i'll be comfortable putting stuff into the attic from the garage.

I have this for hauling the family around, a 2013 Lexus RX350 Ultra Premium
This is my fun summer car, a 2002 Lexus IS300, fully loaded with 5 speed manual, LSD, and lowered on coilovers. Four doors so I can fit a car seat, I hope to eventually replace it with a NA2 Acura NSX or a Porsche 997TT once I don't need to carry kids in it.
The 4Runner is used for everything in between and is parked on the driveway.

Picked up a new toy on Saturday. A Fleetwood Evolution E2, it's a 2007, one owner who never used it. Practically brand new, everything works just like out of the showroom.
I can carry my street bike or two dirtbikes in the cargo area with build in loading ramps, I can get it into some good back country with it's ground clearance too.
Plan to take it to upstate New York in a couple weeks with my wife and my Triumph on the cargo deck. Should be prime colors already in that area/time.
