I have a brand new 10" w6v2 that I was planning on putting into my '11 limited. Ended up buying one with the jbl system and im not going to upgrade. Ive been looking to sell it. If you want it, we can probably work out a price thats fair for both of us.

well its not fully busted yet its only when i turn the volume to the max volume I allow that I hear the rattling. and the bass boost isn't turned up real high on my amp or radio. my EQ is set like this Bass +2 Mid +6 Treble +6, Subwoofer +6, Bass Boost +1. anybody think this might have something to do with it? BTW I have a Pioneer Premier DEH P500UB

what amp do you have? remember its not realisticly possible to blow a speaker with too much power more often it is using an amp that doesnt have quite enough and running it into a slightly distorted signal overheating the voice coil. it is still best to adjust the sound by tuning the amps rather than turning up bass and treble on the deck. the w6 is very very hard su to damage, one of the most reliable subs i sell actually. if you are wanting more ouput than a single 10 can handle you migh consiber 2 subs. cone area makes a much bigger difference than getting a higher end sub. for example two 10w3 subs would be much louder than a singe w6 from the same amount of power.
if you are looking for a "better" sub than the w6 it is going to be hard it is one of the best available.
