Best Aftermarket Seat Warmers

I was under the impression that installing heated seats in cloth was a fire hazard... isn't that why you can only buy heated seats in leather from the factory?

My wifes 2010 outback came with cloth seats and factory heaters, not aftermarket add ons.

I will add this little morsel, I irritated my sciatic nerve on New Year's Eve and as a result could hardly move or get comfortable for a couple of days. Had a three-hour drive home and was SO GLAD to have the OE seat-heaters.

Made my drive bearable and actually helped me to get ready to go back to work on Monday.

I recommend whatever you can get for seat-heaters

I was watching an install video earlier and the dude said something about not being able to install the back portion on the passenger seat because it would mess with some safety system. Is this true?

Factory Landcruiser onces fit our switch blanks, and match the rest of the interior switches.

Rosta here too - switch fit perfectly just wish they were lighted. Heat up very quickly.

Hey everyone, I have a quick question.

I am looking at getting heated seats for my wifes B-day.
Ive learned that most people love the rostra heated seats so I want to go with them but I am not sure about the fit.

Wolfgang said he wished they were lighted, but the ones I found on the rostra website are LED lit. so I'm not sure which one he went with.
Does anyone know if this one fits the OEM slots perfectly?

I'm about to install Rostra Heated Seats on my 07 Honda Civic. The passenger side seat has weight sensors on it, so Honda does NOT recommend the installation of heated seats. HOWEVER, if you place a sheet of telfon on top of the sensors, then placing the heated seat elements on top of the telfon, the factory sensors should be fine. The telfon will protect them during use (heat). OF course, if you ask some professional installers, some will say they install them anyway without any protection. Yikes.
