Best Brake/s Stock 16"?

Have two 97's, 1-SR5 Manual, 225-16s, 1-Lmt-Automatic, 265-16s, both stock 16" rims jj7x16.
Want to get the best possible braking I can from a 16".
Best Pad/Rotor etc combos with 16"?

(Read all the Tundra Brake Upgrade etc. want to stay w/ 16" for now.
Also read and tried all the bedding threads)
(Went up to Napa quality so far, far thicker and better vented than Advance, Autozone (cost comparable).
With the Lmt/Auto, going downhills, even with taking it out of O/D, even downshifting auto to 2nd, even flat sub-urb stop and go all have warped so far.
NOT going to spend Big $ on Yota OEM, or HiPo crossdrilled, etc.
IF they are going to warp just as easy.....

I have tundra brakes and 16"wheels. Totally worth it. Night and day difference. The 231mm's require a spacer but that's it.

I can't tell from your avatar but I think even with the tri spoke wheels the 199mm calipers fit.

Tundra brakes wont clear the split 3 spoke wheels without trimming or spacers, i see them in the avatar pic. The 5 spoke wheels will clear. Good tires , pads and rotors help a bunch with stopping. I have stock 4runner brakes with Posiquiet extended wear pads and they do the job just fine. A high quality pad and rotor make a big differnce, tundra brakes are just no in the cards for me right now. Hawk and EBC pads are great also.

I have the 199mm tundra brakes on my 00 4runner. I had the 16" oem split 3 spoke wheels with no spacers, they cleared the 199's with no issues.

Yeah the 199mm brakes clear but the 231mm dont.

I had the 199's with those wheels. They fit fine and stopped great. And quite honestly the tundra rotor is what offers the real gains in stopping without warping, so just getting to the 199 is the biggest leap forward, I suspect the 231 only offers mild gains from the 199.
