BEST Dash/Console/Glovebox/Interior Accessories!

Well it's snowing like crazy here today so it seemed like a good time to organize the glove box.
Used a piece of 1/4" thick ABS and some ABS cement and cut with a jig saw.to get it done. Turned out nice.
Used this tool to get the angles right.
ABS cement did a perfect job of "welding" the parts together, very stout.

Do you really want to carry around another key with you just for the safe/risk losing it?
The only real choice in my mind is between 3 & 4 number combination, and to be perfectly honest 3 is sufficient.
Most people who see the safe (if they've already gained access to your vehicle) are going to be dissuaded from bothering by its presence.
If they're so incredibly intent on getting into it, 3 or 4 number combinations aren't something their pry bar, drill, etc are going to concern themselves with.
Frankly, if you're living in an area where car burglars are using pry bars, drills, etc, you should move. lol

Here is my addition:
Salex Organizer
Normal pens/light/gum/little bit of cash etc. biggest reason is for the universal holster. I have it bolted to the middle divider. Allows me to adjust without taking out the holster and bolts retain when drawing. Went with a universal holster because I will store my CCW there when driving but on trips/out at night I will run a full size with Streamlight TLR1.
Top tissue area holds my Fire HD8 Tablet perfect. We use it for downloading and watching movies/shows during road trips. Mounts to CD Magnetic holder. Nice placement for passengers to watch while I drive.

It was only $16 when I purchased so you may watch for a week or so and see if it goes back down.

I have a ConsoleVault and I love mine. I would agree with Bloodninja's comment. I went with the 3 number combo. I like the fact that I can still open the vault while driving without a key.

I bought the plastic from Amazon for 12$ and spent a couple of hours putting it together and shipping would be around 10$ so I don't know if it would be economical for you. What would you offer?

You guys and your wobbly ass arms holding your iPads. This combo of ram mount + proclip is amazingly sturdy. Just installed on Monday and have had no issues.
I use the iPad mini wifi 32GB picked up at Costco for $250 and the dual XGPS150A Bluetooth GPS module. I picked this combo since I have pretty much all apple products. I stayed away from the bad elf as I wanted something a bit more sturdy without the risk of snapping the lightning connector. So far it worked great on a trip from Spokane to Boulder.

Ram: RAM-B-101U-C long double socket arm
Ram: ez-roll'r cradle for iPad mini
A couple of 3/4" bolts and locking nuts

Not bad at all actually. It's raised high enough that I can access it easily. I am still playing around with the position but so far, not really any downsides to this.

From experience, I'd say it's in the way, as you don't want to be having to shove your hand down and across when trying to kick into 4L in a trouble spot.
I was in a similar situation with my tablet mounting and I think if you added the RAM dumbbell setup, i.e the 1" ball to 1" ball connector and then a short RAM arm, you could crane it up and over so you had a clear path to the lever.
This is what I did on mine. As a side note I'm mounting my Delorme InReach sat device on a steelie mount. The ram suction cup mount is...frankly...garbage. and keeps popping off during temperature shifts.
