This one cannot be touched. I have caught probably 400 redfish in my lifetime and never had anything close to this happen to me. Bull shark more than likely. I have had a tarpon jump in the back of the boat though as well as helping to deliver a baby 50 miles off the SC coast. Also picked up three stranded boaters off the west end of Folly Beach on a sandbar once at 3am in the morning after their boat got swamped.
My uncle in the 80s has two good ones, both on salt water:
He once reeled in a suitcase that had two big diamond rings in it. After no one claiming them via the police, he sold them and was able to buy another boat. Another time he was casting his finger mullet (bait) towards his favorite fishing hole when a seagull snatched it out of the air. He started to reel in the bird and got about 50 yards when the gull dropped his bait.
