best glue/adhesive for bumper

Something hit my front bumper and punched a neat hole in it, about an inch in diameter. Almost as if a truck with rebar hanging out the back whacked me when parking.

The piece that got punched out is still hanging by a thread on the inside of the bumper, and the edge of the hole is a pretty clean break. It kind of bothers me, looking at the hole, so I'm going to remove the bumper and try gluing the piece back in the hole from the inside.
This is on a gold 2003 Limited.

Any opinions on which glue or adhesive to use? I'm tempted to use 2-part epoxy, but since the bumper could flex from another "bump" in the parking lot, maybe that's too brittle. Goop might be the thing, or one of the JB Weld's products (there are so many of them). Once I get it glued back in, I could put a patch over it from the inside.

Opinions or experience are appreciated. Thanks....

Yea, I think JB weld says that you can use it as body filler.

I would probably just use bondo body filler to fill, sand down and spray paint over

I would think 2-part plastic epoxy would work best and I wouldn't worry about it being too rigid.

I've seen what must have been the Toyota dealer use epoxy to glue broken clip tabs on the back of interior trim panels when they screw them up.

I used 5 minute epoxy to glue the rear quarter panel piece to the tabs that bolt/clip onto the body after my wife hit a Juniper when out wheeling two years ago and it’s still holding strong.
