Ya its hard to believe but they look even better in person.... Pictures do not do them justice, I get a lot of compliments on them....

Sounds like a great wheel. I really do like how they look. I can't decide between the black matte or gunmetal matte. I do have a 4th gen in silver.

I had the matte gunmetal on my MGM tacoma and it looked great as well, decided to go with the matte black for my 4r and couldn't be happier, love the way it looks, IMO i think the matte black looks badass on the silver 4r, but either way it will look good....
Pacific City? Hopefully you grabbed a bite at the Pelican Brewery.

How come people wanting black wheels don't just get 4 more spare steel wheels and paint them?

Steel wheels are heavier than alloy. Not everyone will like the "style" of the spare wheels. Painted steel wheels may look good for a few weeks but once you go off-road and drive on treated winter roads... the finish will quickly diminish, unless you do a professional paint job, at which point will get expensive. IMO.
total noob, first time poster here but if all things work out i should be joining the club here in the next week or so. I like the look of a white SR5 with black wheels.
the dealer was trying to sell me on a model on the lot that was pre-installed with a lift kit and wheels and would drop the price to cost ($4,500) but i decided to wait and get a model without the upgrade and do it myself.
i have looked through the whole thread and have narrowed the wheel down to probably one of the following
Enkei M6
Konig six shooter
Konig Countersteer
ScS Stealth 6 (site doesnt currently have 17 inch)
Im not looking to get too aggressive with the wheel and tire since i dont plan to do a whole lot of off road and will mainly be doing street/freeway driving. what would be a good set up that wont require a lift kit or anything too complicated.
