Best looking tail pipe?

So im going to have my new muffler welded soon, and i was debating if i want to do anything cosmetically with a tailpipe. Part of me thinks that an oblong or dual tips might look pretty good.

Im interested on what everyone's opinions are, pics would be sweet too!

i painted my bland looking pipe with just some high temp semi-gloss black paint and it made a world of difference.

I'm starting to think people aren't going to take my question seriously lol! Not like i said im contemplating a 6" round fart cannon like tail pipe or "rain catchers"...

I just thought you might like to make it super Japanesey.

If you are just thinking about an exhaust tip, then you should just use google image search and find one you like. There's not much to it, and it's all your opinion.

IMO, exhaust tips don't add performance, so don't bother.

Actually, I take that back, that hello kitty muffler has got to add some HP's, it's just got to!

Its not always about performance. A muffler really isnt going to do anything performance wise and we all know that. The type of tail pipe can have an effect on sound...

Part of me likes the idea of hiding it with a turn down at the end. I'm just afraid that could make it drone more than id like...

Classic Nelson!

The TRD looks clean even though I hate chrome, that still looks good.

I just had my exhaust run from the cat back over the axle to the stock exit point (straight 2.5" no muffler) and the added length made it sound tingey and ricey. It had a good rumble straight out of the cat, it was just to loud in the cab. So I'm going to take it back and do a little trial and error with different size tips. I know from experience that the length and diameter of the tip can make a substantial difference.:girl:LOL

In all seriousness, it's not going to accomplish what a muffler does but a larger tip is going to bring a deeper rumble out of it. I may get up to a 4", and it's not for the looks. We'll see what happens. I'll do a few short clips of before and afters.

I like stock!

Simple and clean. Toyota often makes a nice exhaust from stock, unlike manufactures like GM and Dodge.
