Best mods for $700-1000?

how about replacing all of the bushings and a few other things to tighten her up?

I'm not mechanically savvy, but if I found a place to install an ARB at a reasonable price, what would I be looking at in terms of paying for install? I'm thinking $800 for the kit and $150 for the install? Also, you can lock an '02 with VSC for sure, right?

It will probably be more like 800 for the locker and 200-300 for the install.

you can expect to spend 1k-1.2K for a locker fully installed out the door.

i know of a company that will sell you a brand new complete 3rd with fresh gears of choice and an arb for 1.4K and you can swap the 3rd yourself in a couple of hours, lol

how about considering gears for the larger tires your going to run one day? lol:driving:

I would save it, but if you really want to spend it I would do full skid plates and then save a little more and get a nice bumper.

Yep, thats a little off topic and it depends on which skid you're talking about. I can tell you from personal experience, it's not necessary with BudBuilt.

I'd do all the maintenance stuff myself with that money. I dare say you could get just about everything done with that...but if thats not sexy enough then maybe the Tundra brake upgrade. That's one I enjoy every day!:hatsoff:
