Best order for LCA and UCA replacement?

Got a big day of suspension work planned this weekend. I'll be moving my Eibach's up to the second setting in preparation of an incoming bumper, and replacing both the UCAs and LCAs.

Anybody who's worked on this got any notions as to the best order? I'm currently thinking for each side doing UCA first, then removing the strut and moving the snap ring, and then replacing the LCA and replacing the strut assembly. This seem like a sane-ish plan?

I put a ICON stage 6 on my lady friends 06 in 8 hours in a driveway with OEM LCAs, also included ditching all the Xreas plumbing and replacing the CVs with CVJ axles. Your mentioned method is what I went with and it went very smoothly.

Solid plan, let us know how it goes! You might have to remove the battery tray on the driver side to get the UCA bolt out. Makes it easier.

I also had to pull the battery and tray to make it easier.

I had no issues with the battery tray when I did the UCAs on my 03. Both side bolts came out pretty easily.

Body lift helps with that, actually the body lift helps with getting at a lot of annoying bolts on the frame!

This is probably true. I hadn't thought of that.

Will do. Should be a good day of wrenching. Normally I would be super excited for a day of wrenching, beer, and swearing, but between the valve cover gaskets, bumper and winch, and buying my wife a new car, I've been up to my eyeballs in car nonsense lately :juggle:

Honestly would like to get her back on the road, as she got indefinitely garaged once the UBJs started groaning. Should have a good looking rig when this is done though.
