Best "paint" options for already welded ALl-Pro sliders?

Just ran across another thread on here and saw these.

Rock Sliders - 4Runner (58) [120001-1-K] - $137.75 : Addicted Offroad is a full service Parts, Sales, and Fabrication company offering offroad parts for all makes and models, Addicted Offroad

Addicted Offroad Sliders using the much better 1035 DOM tubing and they are $50 cheaper to boot.
Can hardly pass that up, so looks like I will be ordering those instead.

Anyone have these that can post a pic or two of them installed?

@Nunyabiz - I would recommend you don't go with full gloss black. I would recommend semi-gloss or "trim black". The reason is IMO truck doesn't look as good if everything is gloss.

That gloss will not match your factory panels, especially not in 6 months. I think it might even look funny, like a 2 glossy blacks that are trying to match but don't.

On my truck I have the front and rear bumpers, sliders, top brake light spoiler all painted semi-gloss by SEM. It is pretty hard to tell the difference between semi-gloss and flat black but full gloss will be to glossy.

I just checked out your "My Build Thread", very nice. I see you went to Joshua Tree NP.
I love Joshua Tree, I used to live in Southern California for about 27 years and have spent weeks at a time camped out in Joshua Tree.
We used to go rock climbing there A LOT and I know it like the back of my hand, been over the whole park in every nook and cranny.

Thanks! A good example of semi-gloss is the color of an ARB front bumper. That is semi-gloss black (automotive). I actually went down to the paint store and had the guy confirm this before I bought paint for my rear bumper (not yet posted in my build).

Overall I think the semi-gloss bumper/sliders contrast well with the factory black.

I will probably go with the Satin Black

Spray Max 1K Trim Paint Satin Black

Then coat it with the 2K clear coat and I think there is a way to spray the clear coat on that will give it a satin finish instead of glossy.
Like put a good coat on then in a few minutes put a very lite mist coat over that and it comes out matte I believe.

Do they come with the plate at the end of the tubing that gets welded to the 4Runner's frame?
Any estimate of the angle that they sit at in comparison to horizontal. Yours seem to sit flatter than they appear on their wesite's description page.

The price is right but I dont think 60" is long enough for our trucks.

Rustoleum trim and bumper paint works great, holds up to the weather and abuse perfectly, I used it on my roof basket and it hasn't faded at all in the last year+
