Best site to buy STT Pro?

I'm in the marker for some Cooper STT pro I 285/75r16. Who has the best pricing for these?the sites I've been to varied from 240-300 for that size. Just want to see if there may be a site with better price I may have missed before I order. TIA

Honestly get them anywhere that will rotate and balance for free i.e. Discount tire. If you rotate every 5k miles that's usually what $25 a rotation and balance? Definitely worth it over the life of the tires. They actually rotate correctly too. They measure each of your tires and find out what's wearing slower and faster and rotate accordingly to help them wear evenly. Even if discount is $15-$20 more a tire that'll pay for itself in 3-4 rotations and balances. Look at the log run part too

agreed with him...amazon sells them cheaper but it all equals out with shipping...usually discount tire is best deal cause u can get the free balancing/rotating if you chose to get them installed by one of the dealers theyre associated with...i went to a place around me and they price matched my trail grapplers...i was looking into stt pros too have u looked into mastercraft courser mxt? made by cooper almost the same tire much cheaper...also nitto just came out with the ridge grapplers...agressive sidewall but AT tread and they come
in load C...2 sidewalls to chose from

I would also say Discount Tire, or Discount Tire Direct are going to be your best bet overall. As far as best price, time is your biggest ally. If you can wait a bit, DT, and DTD offer crazy discounts a few times a year. I am not sure if is on some sort of calander or something, but that's what I will be doing for future purchasing. Coopers seem to run on the expensive side compared to other manufacturers. I was looking at their ST Maxx when I was looking at tires, but they were running about $50 more expensive than my BFG KO2s.

Depends. They don't usually match tirerack because discount includes shipping on their site in the price and tirerack doesn't. Once you ship the tirerack tire it's the exact same price minus or plus a dollar

I think you are confusing Discount Tire with Discount Tire Direct. I'm referring to Discount Tire (brick & mortar) matching online shipped prices.

Not really. DTD is cheaper than brick and mortar discount tire. I've never tried price matching because my last duratracs were about the same price anywhere but they were like $220 in store, $210 on their direct site and shipping from tirerack would have been about $220. I negotiated some but, with specialty tires like that, it's hard to negotiate much.

Just looked again and discount tire direct is $12 or so cheaper per tire for 33s than discount and tirerack shipped is $25 more for the set.

I recently invested in the Cooper STT Pro. Did it at Harry Tire Center on the side of the road. Harry's an honest hard working good guy. He was by himself that day. $285. a pop, mounted and balanced. He set me up with the previous Cooper STT tires five years ago on another rig and they're still going strong. Flawless. The new STT Pro is more aggressive than the last model, a difference you can feel and hear. Sweet tires really, a definite investment in quality, with the opportunity of investing in community as well.

I would say shop around at your local tire places and see which will price match...mine charged me 288$ a tire for Nitto Trail Grapplers mounted and balanced, did it through a place that does customizations and audio, tint stuff like that not just regular mechanical stuff but that was a price matched deal...
I wish the STT Pros came in load D or C and thats ultimately why I went with the Nittos cause theyre load C

I was told by the managers at America's tire that they would price match anything from discount tire direct. I wanna say it's their distributor's ebay store.
