Best Tread Life

Please post how many miles you have on your current or past set of tires. Be sure to include make, model and tire size. Let's see what tires(with proper care) tend to have the best tread life.

I currently have Bridgestone Dueler HT with 10k. I am hoping these last a long time, they seem to last a while based on Tirerack reviews.

Not sure you're going to do much better than the Michelin LTX MS2 for treadwear.

6 Year/70,000 Mile Warranty on those.

Hankook dynapro atm P265/70/17. Installed August 2010 at 63k miles. Currently have 123k miles and they are about half worn. Been across the US a handful of times with them. No flats. They always balance good with little weight. They have handled everything I have thrown at them with ease. I got them at a great price too (had ordered these tires in a 255/75/17 but Discount dropped the ball, made me a deal on these). Seriously considering them when I need tires again.

Previous truck got 125k on michelin LTX MS. 4Runner got 105K on Michelin Cross terrains and now have 33K on Michelin LTX MS2 and they look almost brand new . Dad's Ford F250 has 80K on Michelin LTX and they look like there is another 15-20K. See a trend here with the Michelins? They are not an off road tire, but they do well as an all terrain tire and handle the road whether it i wet, dry, snow covered or iced and they outlast every other tire out there. by the time my current tires wear out I might get a set of Coopers because they are very good tires and less $$ and by that time I will be up there in mileage and age of vehicle.

I have 2005 4runner v6 sr5 bought new. Original tire was Michelin Cross terrains. I replaced the tire at 90000 miles. I think it can last up to 120000 miles but I have to replace it since I need to drive very long distance.

this time I have Fuzion tire, 265 65 17 and have used it for 6000 miles already. I bought the cheapest since what matters to me is the age of the tire. when I received it, i'm completely satisfied. I used it for a really long drive fully loaded and was fine and did not have any issues at all.

265/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers. I had them installed with 64,000 miles and I currently have 141,500 miles and I will still get another 10,000 out of these tires. I have just rotated and balanced them every 5,000 miles. Great tire for the money.

Fyi: I believe toyota recommends 40-45 psi in 10ply tires, mine were not wearing evenly at 35…adjusted to 45 and now they wear and ride great

These and the Toyo HTs will get you 100k + miles on road driving. My last set of Toyo HTs were at 109k when I took them off my V6 4Runner, so I bought another set.
