Best way to get super flex coils installed?

So Far i have removed both shock and springs from the 4runner, unbolted the Panhardbar and sway bar end links. I Came close to getting the left spring in but couldn't get it over that round lip on the axle. What am i doing wrong?:ybrick:

No i haven't done that yet. Guess that would be the next thing. I have toytec's extended rear ss brake lines to replace the old ones.

You don't need to unhook the brake line. I raised the passenger side of the axle up slightly and just muscled it in. Use a pry bar if needed. They aren't difficult to install.

no no no

let the axle free hang. take your stock jack and put it on the axle and the bump stop and crank away, it will push your axle down so you can shove it in. it will take some work but i did it at 12 pm after driving the prior 24 hours. check out my build thread around page 3 or so. ive got a few pic of my install.

I will definitely try that tomorrow once i get out of work.
Then once i get the springs in bolt the bottom the the shock and cut the band thats around the shock?

Yeah. The shock will then slowly yet quite rapidly move up. Guide it into the hole in the upper mount. It kinda sucks trying to compress the shock and do it again.

This. Another suggestion is to put a floor jack (or something) under the pumpkin to keep the brake line from stretching too much and giving the axle more of a pivot. I have done 3 this way and it's easy and safe (well, relatively).

i bend that bracket so the the brake hose points down instead of horizontal. no need for extended lines or anything. works great!

I would have put the vehicle jack on the side I'm working on pushing the axle down as I slide the coil in

Loosen the control arm bolts! That axle will drop as soon as you do! You don't have to remove the control arm, just hit the bolts with an impact for a second each and it'll be way easy.
