Best way to install lift for cars with KDSS

What is the verdict on the best way to install UCA, front and rear shocks for cars with KDSS system. I have seen some that remove the KDSS sway bar to nothing remove at all except UCA bolt. Could someone confirm if you put the car in 4Lo then the KDSS is disengage. This would allow for greater suspension travel to install the shocks. I am hoping to get mine installed in a few weeks so any tips is greatly appreciated.

Just my two cents:

It depends on the type of lift.

I installed some 2.5" spacers in the front and 1.5" spacers in the rear.

I was able to get away with just disconnecting the spindle arm (whatever it's called) at the front and prying down the lower control arm (on the passenger size) on the driver side I jacked up the KDSS piston which caused the driver side lca to go down all the way. This allowed me to remove and more importantly reinsert the shock assembly.

This frees up the uca rather than the lca. I thought this was easier than disconnecting the lca. (good for you if the uca is something you want to replace).

This BARELY fit. I think if you do anything taller, you have to disconnect the LCA.
