Results are in. Zero rub when completely stuffed. There wasn't much room between the tire and the mud flap (in the rear) but it definitely cleared. I was honestly more concerned about it rubbing further up in the wheel well which would have required a longer bumpstop... Oh... Pics or it didn't happen...
So I drove it right into a big 'ol dirt bank. Driver Rear tire at least 6 inches in the air. Passenger rear stuffed as far as the suspension was going to let it go... I was running these at right around 20psi for the day. [MENTION=98075]sroodtuo[/MENTION]
It's a Comet RS 720. I wouldn't recommend it though. There is far too much play with a 4 ft. firestick on it. I've already broken one of the adjustment bolts trying to get it tight enough so the thing doesn't move. And it doesn't take a standard 3/8ths inch CB stud mount. I had to place two washers with 3/8ths center holes in them on either side to get the standard stud to work. Kind of a pain in the ass. Unfortunately, there aren't any other locations to mount something on the rear of a 5th gen without drilling holes in your truck. It's 100% plastic back there. Most folks are using ditch mounts on the hood, which is my next option after this one is done.
I wondered the same until I saw the reviews from Canadian Tire.
