I'd go with 265 C's. I was actually debating the exact same thing and for what I intend to do an E would be overkill along with the negatives of having a heavier and stiffer 10 ply tire. It depends on what you want to do really. I think if you're coming from a P-rated tire and you have to ask yourself if you need a C or E rated tire then you probably don't need the E and the logical choice is C rated. My 2 cents
Same debating here; only that I found wheelin in the desert were there;s a ton of sharp rocks, my P rated tires aren't going to cut it much longer. Just wondering if the 275's rub running stock suspension; would like to have just that little extra bit of height. I've got selected to go on an Overland Expedition after the Expo in May. Running back down to Southern New Mexico over 5 days in the back country and I'll have my OZtent along with spare water/gas; highlift; shovel; propane up top. But not sure if that would make it rub due to the weight pushing down on the truck. Might just stick with stock E's
